Property Hub India (“we”, “us”) runs this website to help people buy, rent and list property. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

1. What we collect
- Account details: your mobile number (used to sign in with a one-time code), name and, if you add it, email address.
- Listings you post: property details, location, price, photos and the RERA number if you provide one.
- Visit requests, callbacks and number views: the name, mobile number, preferred date and time and any message you send to a property owner, and a record of which listings' numbers you viewed.
- Your activity when signed in: your shortlist, saved searches and how often you want alerts about them, the listings you recently viewed and your last ten searches — so they follow you across devices and we can email the alerts you ask for. You can delete saved searches and stop alert emails at any time from My activity, your Account page or the link in every alert.
- Home loan requests: name, mobile number, city, loan amount and, if given, monthly income.
- Technical data: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, your IP address (used to prevent abuse of sign-in codes) and basic server logs.
- On your device only: compared properties, an unsent listing draft and, until you sign in, your shortlist are stored in your browser. When you sign in, that shortlist moves to your account.
2. How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To publish and manage your listings, including reviewing them before they go live.
- To pass your visit request to the owner of the property you chose, and to let you know about responses.
- To arrange home loan offers you asked for.
- To send service messages: sign-in codes, listing approvals and visit-request alerts.
- To prevent fraud, spam and misuse of the website, and to meet legal obligations.
4. What is public
Listing details and photos you publish are visible to everyone. Do not include personal information such as your phone number, ID documents or faces of people in listing text or photos.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and listings while your account is active. Visit and loan requests are kept for up to 24 months to resolve queries and disputes. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct or update inaccurate data (you can also edit your name and email in your dashboard);
- delete your account and personal data;
- withdraw consent you have given — this does not affect processing already done.
Write to hello@propertyhubindia.in. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
Sign-in codes are stored only in hashed form and expire after five minutes. Access to personal data is restricted to people who need it to run the service. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your phone and sign-in codes private.
8. Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be highlighted on the website.
